bishop myron k. dawson

Bishop Myron K. Dawson, one of Greensboro's most anointed and distinguished men, was born on January 19, 1968 in Jersey City, NJ. Bishop Dawson received his call to the ministry in August 1995, preached his first sermon in October 1995 and has continually walked in his call with grace.

His ministry is witty, energetic and powerful, preparing the saints to boldly seek the Lord for their destiny and follow the vision that is set before them. He graduated from George Washington High School in Danville, Va. He attended Longwood College in Farmville, Va. and NC A&T State University. He received his seminary degree at the International Overcoming Outreach School of Religion in Greensboro, NC in August 1997.

In September 1998, he obtained the shepherdship of Family Outreach Ministries and in January 1999, he had his official installation service. From that day to present he has made an empowering impact on the ministry and the city of Greensboro. He has taught the ministry to embrace the spirit of excellence and to reach out to those who are elderly, lost and less fortunate.

In January 2007, to further embrace the spirit of excellence, God's calling on Bishop Dawson's life shifted and Family Outreach Ministries became "The Kingdom Covenant Church" where our Vision continues:

"To win souls and makes disciples by helping people to develop their gift, discover their purpose and deliver their call in ministry."

Bishop Dawson possesses a powerful anointing and he and his wife, Lady Frenchie W. Dawson, serve together as one to show what God can do through chosen yielded vessels. Many who have experienced their ministry have witnessed this testimony.

Bishop & Lady Dawson have three wonderful children: J'Myra, C'Mille, and Chris.
